Our first release for 2023 is as rare as it is unique. Beautiful ruby color with aromas of brown sugar, baked apples, and vanilla, this is not our typical 3-year-aged whiskey. Aged an additional 6 months with a port finish, this is the perfect whiskey to ring in the end of winter and the launch of spring. In the mountains, we transition our seasons a little slower, and our port finish is your faithful companion for longer daylight with lingering chill and epic starry nights.
COLOR: Dark caramel with ruby highlights
NOSE: Baked apples, caramel, brown sugar, vanilla bean, and clove
TASTE: Smooth malts with nutty and buttery caramel notes finished with a touch of gingerbread.
FINISH: A smooth and spiced finish with a hint of clove, star-anise, and all-spice.
BASE SPIRIT: Distilled from a blend of organic 2-row & organic crystal malts.
THE WATER: We only use our local water that flows to us from the surrounding Northern Rocky Mountain peaks. The water is high in mineral content and as pure as water can come.
AWARDS: Our Whiskeys has won gold medals from the American Craft Spirit Awards and the San Francisco International Spirits Competition, in addition to a double gold award from the SIP International Spirits Competition.
